At Bonita Springs Hospice Care, our services include physical, emotional and spiritual care for patients together with support for the people who are close to them.
- Registered nurses and medical directors to address medical care, pain management and symptom management and assistance with medical equipment needs.
- Social workers to listen tend assist you with finding solutions to your concerns including financial, insurance issues and grief support.
- Chaplains offer spiritual support.
- Assistance with daily living skills (dressing, bathing, eating etc).
- Support from volunteers providing you companionship or running errands for you.
Hospice Home Care
When your loved one is considering end-of-life care, the ability to spend those days at home provides additional comfort at a very difficult time. Surrounded by the things they love most, patients receiving hospice care at home find a safe haven where they may live with dignity and comfort.
Bonita Springs Hospice Care staff members provide support to the primary caregiver, typically a family member or loved one who may have never cared for a terminally ill person. Our team develops a care plan designed specifically for each patient’s need for pain management and symptom control, as well as their emotional and spiritual needs.
Bonita Springs Hospice Care will also provide medication, treatment, equipment and supplies that are related to the patient’s hospice diagnosis. A member of the Bonita Springs Hospice Care team makes regular visits to assess the patient and works closely with the patient and family to provide additional care or services when needed, all in the home setting.
Bonita Springs Hospice Care staff is on call 24 hours a day to answer questions and provide assistance. We provide services, based on patient and medical needs, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Anyone can make a referral, including patients, physicians or family members.
